Privacy

Privacy policy.

Last updated: 4 July 2026

Pension Bible is a static, read-only publication. There are no user accounts, no logins, and nothing to sign up for. This page explains what little data is involved in using the site.

Calculator inputs

Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. The figures you enter — salary, pension pot, contributions — are never sent to our servers and we cannot see them. Some calculators write your inputs into the page address so you can bookmark or share a result; that address stays on your device unless you choose to share it.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to: no advertising trackers, no fingerprinting, and no cross-site tracking of any kind.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics, a cookie-free analytics service, to count page views. It records aggregate, anonymised information — which pages are visited, the country a visit came from, and the browser and device type. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, and does not build a profile of you. We use these counts to understand which guides and calculators are useful.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web host, Vercel processes standard server request logs (including IP addresses) for security and operational purposes. We do not access or store these logs ourselves.

Email

If you email us — for example to report a correction — we keep the correspondence for as long as it is needed to deal with your message. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not share your address with anyone.

Links to other sites

Guides link to external sources such as GOV.UK, MoneyHelper, and provider websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you have rights over personal data an organisation holds about you — including access, correction, and erasure. Because this site holds no personal data beyond any email you send us, exercising these rights is usually as simple as asking us to delete the correspondence. Contact us at hello@pensionbible.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add features that change how data is handled — such as a newsletter — we will update this page first and date the change at the top.
